CAA SA subscribes to section 217 of the South African constitution which states that all public sector procurement shall be fair, transparent, competitive, cost effective and equitable.

Who can Tender

CAA SA procurement process is accessible to all suppliers. Suppliers need to register on CAA SA e-Procurement system in order to access opportunities.

What do we procure?

Anything required to run an oil and gas company, from pencils to sub-sea drilling equipment, from cleaning to technologically advanced consultancy services.

How do we select?

Through our quotation and tender process.

Quotation

For all goods and services below R3 000 000 quotations are requested from approved suppliers on our database.

Tenders

For all goods and services above R3 000 000 tenders are requested from approved suppliers on our database.

Evaluation Process?

Phase 1: Elimination Phase - deals mainly with non compliance with specification, incomplete tenders, inaccurate & misleading information etc.

Phase 2: BEE and Commercial Evaluation - deals with the commercial aspect of the tender. The provision of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act as well as CAA SA BEE policy will be applicable.

Phase 3: Process - the top three scoring companies are submitted to the Procurement Committee or EXCO/Board for approval.
